Went for a
drive out to the long jetty and walked out on it. A few fishermen with reels
and very heavy line trying for “blue bone”. The colours around us are beautiful
– blue sky, red rocks and a bit of green here and there after wet season. As you
walk on long jetty road trains three jinkers long pass by.

Drove along the peninsular to Riddell Beach the road follows the west coast of Broome. Absolutely amazing scenery took lots of photos. Visited lighthouse and ancient rock formations with dinasour prints in them but tide was too high today. We have seen them before!

Back in to town to stock up as we are going bush into the Kimberleys along the Gibb River Road for the next three weeks or so.
Went back to
see “Staircase to the Moon” Amazing golden moon and light staircases across the
mud flats- beautiful!! This only happens few times a year.
