Left Daly Waters Pub and had a look at remains of WW11 plane hanger which was a stopover for Qantas flights in 50's and 60's. Not much left now.

Drove to Renner Springs and had lunch not much there except expensive fuel $1.89c (not our dearest).
On to Banka Banka station for the night. It has been recommended to us. A very funny old couple run the campground, they are like Ma and Pa Kettle. Nice grassy spots and campfire from 6pm to 8pm with a country singer. Not too bad, the kids toasted marshmallows and Bob (Pa Kettle) told some jokes!! Very interesting old mud hut - now heritage listed and lots of old memoriabillia around the station. It has had an interesting past.
