SUNDAY 8th APRIL

Walked up to town for Sunday paper but too busy to read it. Went over to main stadium and the finals of some of the week long events were being held. Watched the finals of the Brumby Catch.A wild brumby is let out into arena and the horseman have to put a harness on it and calm it down to a walk in 2 mins. Not easy when it is tearing around the ring wildly.

The arena was full for the finals presentations.

Drove around town to look at some other things this afternoon. First went up the town lookout a bit hazy but lovely view of valley and town.

Jack Riley's grave he is believed to be the "MAN FROM SNOWY RIVER"
Some really old graves and very young babies and children from the 1850's.

Had Happy Hour with Jack and Pam and friends tonight as we are all moving off tomorrow.
