THURSDAY 12th APRIL

Left Beechwood with full tanks and everything clean and washed. Ready for anything again!!!
Went  via the Beechwood Strawberry farm and bought some lovely blueberries and jam.
Drove through a dust storm through some very dry countryside up to Rutherglen. Stopped for morning tea but not nice weather to look  around today very very windy and dusty. Headed towards Yarrawonga andback to the Murray. Very wind not good driving straight into head wind. Looked at Horseshoe Bend for possible camp spot but too many trees not a good idea with this wind. Continued into Cobram and the info centre told us about a lovely lunch spot called Thompsons Beach. Largest inland beach in Australia and The "Cobby" a small paddlesteamer. Had a nice  picnic lunch next to the Murray River. She also told us about Scott's Beach a good free camp beside the river so pulled into there tonight.

Lunch next to the steamer at Thompsons Beach.

Fish carved with a chainsaw into a tree stump.

Happy hour at tonight's camp sight on the Murray at Scotts Beach.
