MONDAY 21st MAY

Everyone was up early very cold!!!!Really rally windy today luckily it will be a tail wind for us.
Off again on the dirt and corrugations. Not a lot of sights along this road but interesting country side. No towns or settlements or roadhouses at all today along the track. 
There is a lot of patch burning along the side of the road but we came to one fire that was quite large and along both sides of the road. We could see the smoke from a long way away.

The wind was very strong and gusty making the fire change directions all the time.

The flames were moving quickly.

We pulled into our campsite for the night but everyone was a bit wary about the fire and the wind. Wendy and Paul spoke to truck driver who stopped to change a tyre and he suggested a gravel pit just down the road so we moved for peace of mind.
We had a great fire and campfire roast dinner so it was worth moving.
