MONDAY 7th MAY

Left Cadney Park for Marla, fuelled up on bitumen today makes a nicechange. Everthing except the inside of the van is covered in red dust. Quick stop here and on to Kulgera Roadhouse for 2 nights. Got in early so did washing .had lunch and looked at very interesting bar in the roadhouse.The ceiling was covered in bras and undies and shoes left by visitors and there was a lot of aboriginal art. Nev bought me a beautiful one for my birthday to hang in the TV room perfect spot for it.

The highlight of the afternoon was a three jinker road train loaded with camels that pulled in. Caused quite a stir theywere being taken to Peterborough to be broken in and shipped to the middle east to race!!
