HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!
What a great place to have my birthday at Uluru!!!!!
We decided to do a guided tour around part of the base of the rock with an aboriginal ranger to learn some history and beliefs of the local people of the area.
PAYLA! Welcome to Anangu land!!
It was very interesting Uluru is still as amazing as the first time we saw it unique.

We met at 10am and walked around part of the base. You can still climb at times but they really prefer you don't. After hearing from the local people we did not want to climb it as we have done it many years ago. It was closed today.

It really is breath taking took lots of photos all different from different angles.
We then went to the Cultural Centre which wasn't there last time really well done blends in with landscape and excellent exhibits. Had a "Birthday" burger with everyone at cafe. Looked at some amazing crafts and loved the seats made out of hardwood.

Taking it easy!!!

We came back to the van and Nev made me a packet chocolate cake for my birthday he is pretty clever, iced and topped with coconut it was eaten up by everyone that night.
